Sheer SW350 is a complete Tissue converting line, able to produce toilet rolls and kitchen towels up to the speed of 350m/min and a cycle rate of 20 logs/min.
Each unit of the line is driven by independent motors and the rewinder is equipped with the consolidated “SINCRO” transfer system, proven to be the most efficient for tissue production.

Available in 2800 mm format, this line can manage up to three parent reels with a diameter of 2500mm and can attain roll diameters up to 160 mm.
If equipped with the versatile embosser, that is able to ensure high performances with steel rolls Ф 320 mm, is able to produce embossed or laminated products with DESL or DECO technology.

SW350

Unwinder 1

The unwinder backstand for the line SW350 can unwind parent reels with core, up to a diameter of 2500mm and weight of 2500kg.

Technical information

The reel is supported by an hydraulic chuck system and unwound by four draw belts which are tensioned by two pneumatic cylinders and actuated by an independent motor.
A dancer roll controls the web tension.

Optionals available

  • Manual trolley for coreplugs to lift plugs up and insert them into the parent reel core

Embosser

The embosser/laminator for the line SW350 allows two different processes: Rubber/Steel embossing of one, two or three plies without gluing or, thanks to the integrated laminating unit, DESL or Deco/Embossing processes.

Technical information

The steel rolls diameter of 320mm allows high performances and the third optional Rubber/Steel station a wider range of alternative products.
The embossing stations, driven by an independent motor, are activated by pneumatic cylinders and the nip between steel and rubber rolls can be regulated through manually adjustable stops.
A doctor blade system controls the correct quantity of glue distribution on laminated products, while rotating brushes ensure the steel rolls lubrication.

Rewinder

The automatic rewinder for the line SW350 can produce toilet and kitchen towel rolls with core, up to a diameter of 160mm, at the speed of 350m/min and a cycle rate of 20 logs/min.

Technical information

Quality and efficiency are guaranteed by this modern rewinder equipped with the consolidated “SINCRO” transfer system, the blade core gluing and an electronic diameter control system.

High flexibility and versatility can be obtained as well, with the double perforator and using the available optional of ply bonding system.

All roll specifications, such as roll diameter, sheet count and sheet length can be easily changed by the operator through simple operations from the HMI. The perforation length and slant too can be adjusted from the panel (optional).

Tail sealer

The tail sealer for the line SW350 is designed around two important criteria: high efficiency output and ease of use. Its simple flexible design allows this tail sealer to easily meet daily high cycle rate demands with minimal maintenance requirements.

Technical information

The proven sliding blade gluing system consistently ensures the appropriate quantity of glue to precisely seal the roll’s final sheet.

The tail length can be adjusted as well from Panel.

Accumulator

The log accumulator for SW350 contributes to increase overall reliability and flexibility of the line.

Technical information

It accumulates the wound and glued log and delivers them, continuously and in respect of the preset cutoff and handling parameters, to the downstream equipment.

The logs coming from the tail sealer are collected in buckets supported at the extremities by chains.

These chains are drawn and guided by sprockets that designate the accumulation path. A mobile trolley, actuated by two independent drives, moves vertically to the machine, differentiating the unloading phase from the warehouse phase.

The solution adopted allow to call backlogs according to the first-in, first-out method.

Log Loader

The log loader for SW350 takes the logs from the accumulator and loads one log saw with 2 channels.

Technical information

It is practically an extension of the accumulator buckets and, controlled by the log unloading motor, discharges two logs on the log saw by means of mechanical cams at each channel.

Log Saw

The orbital log saw for the line SW350 applies the most recent technologies of flexible cutting.

Technical information

Its blade’s rotary-oscillating system, for continuous and controlled log advancement, allows reaching high performance of speed and quality.

Project evolution has rationalized the system featuring this extremely operator friendly machine. In fact, thanks to the use of servomotors, all log cutting parameters can be electronically controlled through the HMI.

The emery dust suction system (optional) reduces cleaning operations and risk of fire.

The working speed is 240 strokes per minute for toilet rolls and 120 strokes per minute for kitchen towels.

In order to guarantee total flexibility, with trims of various diameters or lengths, a vacuum trim elimination device (trimex) has been installed.
